1. FDA suspends Juul e-cigarette ban amid appeals process

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said on Tuesday that it had suspended Juul’s ban on the company’s e-cigarettes as it went through an appeals process. The FDA rejected Juul’s application in June to sell tobacco and menthol-flavored e-cigarettes, saying the company must withdraw its products from the U.S. market.

2. The UK e-cigarette market will grow to $1.2 billion by 2025

Recently, according to the report “UK Electronic Cigarette Market by Product and Distribution Channel – 2021-2025 Forecast and Analysis” released by market research agency Technavio, the UK electronic cigarette market will grow by 12.20% year-on-year in 2021, with a compound annual growth rate during the forecast period. Growth is 13% and is expected to grow to $1.2 billion in 2025.
